Skins

Skins is a British drama series which involves lots of drug use, alcohol consumption, and reckless behavior while following the lives of a group of teenagers. It is a teen-drama and every episode happens in chronological order whilst focusing and seeing things from each character point of view.

Skins engages audiences whether they watched every episode so they always know what's happening anyway, or someone who occasionally watches it as it tells people whats been happening without actually showing them again. For example, Tony was hit by a car and if you missed that then the fact that he is all broken and scared of cars now shows that his injuries came from a car accident. Then he shouts about how it's horrible not being himself after being hit which then makes people who occasionally watch it realize what's happened to him.

Within each series of Skins it shows relationship problems, problems with a parent, the stress of school, and issues like peer pressure within a group of friends. Skins never represents teenagers as the problem, it shows parents acting even more childish than the teenagers and shows how it affects the teens individually because of their problems at home.

Skins is aimed at teenagers the most as they could relate to these teenagers lives as they too are teens who have relationships, school, alcohol and drugs are always around them and many probably have family issues so they might find it very interesting to see how others cope.
