Magazine Annotation

The masthead is big and white on top of a dark background to catch your eye and so you know which magazine it is. The fact that there are two girls o the front with nice figures would instantly attract a young girl. Then there's the title which says 'HOW THEY GOT THEIR BODIES BACK' so straight away anyone who would like to regain their good bodies would be attracted to this magazine. There are then two images (one under each woman) which shows them when they were pregnant. This shows that the magazine is attractive towards mum's who feel as if their bodies aren't quite what they were before. Then there is a banner across the bottom of the page which mentions that celebrities trainers have given tips which everyone would want to hear because they think that if a celebrity has this person to train them, that they must be good! This would give women hope that they can regain a wonderful figure and they have then sold the magazine to a certain market of people instantly.

Then in the top right hand corner, it shows gossip and feuds which once again would appeal to younger women or teenagers. the bar code is in the bottom right hand corner as you see that last.
