Rio is a film which is made by Disney. The production is the actual shooting and recording of a film. In Rio they do not need to shoot anything, it's all animated which means every move that every character made would've had to be made manually.
The audience of a film is the people who the film is aimed at and who the film is suitable to watch. The main audience for Rio is children. Its rating is U meaning that anyone can watch it!
Marketing is the business promoting and advertising their film so people want to watch it! Disney did this by making trailers for Rio.
Here's the trailer:

The trailer has a voice-over each of the scenes shown in the trailer which describes what's happening. Blue is the last bird of his kind and he cannot fly, and he's living with humans, doing human activities so because it's already unusual people would be interested. Then he gets sent to Rio to find the only other female bird of his kind so they can fall in love (with the help of the humans) and they get chained together. Blue then falls in love with the wild and although he misses his life with the humans he wants to stay with his new family!
The trailer shows funny moments in the film making people want to watch it as the whole film might be funny!
In the trailer they mention the other films they have created: 'Ice Age' so people watching the trailer have a film they can compare it to and if they enjoyed the film Ice Age they might want to watch Rio because the film would have the same qualities.
The impact of new technology would benefit Disney when they're advertising their new films as advertising is everywhere on the internet now and if someone shares a link or something to do with their new films then all their friends or followers will see meaning even more people then know about the film!
